1. Prices are non-negotiable and vary depending on sex and size. I breed selectively and do not have puppies on demand.
2. You will not always have your pick of puppies. Please be specific when filling out my application as to your needs or concerns.
3. I DO sell my Maltese puppies to families with children, however, I do NOT place my tiny puppies in homes with small children or large dogs. 
4. Maltese puppies sold are limited AKC registration, spay neuter contract unless going to a show home. You must agree and commit to spaying and neutering your puppy as directed by Bella Dolce Maltese. Show puppies are only sold to an established show home or to an approved home with references and a local mentor.
5. I do NOT sell my puppies with breeding rights only. All Maltese puppies are contractually obligated to be spayed or neutered as directed by Bella Dolce Maltese. (Males must be neutered by 5-6 months of age. Females are to be spayed by 10-12 months.)
6. Maltese puppies must be paid for in CASH.  A $1,000 deposit will hold a puppy for you. I do not hold puppies without a deposit. Deposits are Cash or Zelle.
7. Please note: All deposits and payments are Non-Refundable. By sending deposit, you are acknowledging that you have read, understand & fully agree with the contract & all amendments listed. Also, that you fully acknowledge that you are sending a non-refundable deposit.  All dogs or puppies fall under my contract whether you read it, sign it or not. Please send me a copy of the signed contract by the day of puppy transfer.
8. Your signature on check and or your payment of any monies will serve as your binding agreement to Bella Dolce Maltese contracts. 
9. Due to the high demand of my Maltese puppies, I have to keep a waiting list. There is no time frame guaranteed when being placed on my wait list, as we are dealing with Mother Nature. Most puppies are not offered until they are evaluated for show/pet. This evaluation time frame can be anywhere from 8 weeks to 6 months of age. Repetitive emails & phone calls will not assist in expediting the process. I will contact you when a puppy becomes available and send pictures as I take them. I keep a very detailed waiting list and know exactly where my clients sit on it and what they are looking for, provided their application has been completed accurately.
10. Maltese puppies do not leave my home until they are at least 12 weeks old.

WAIT LIST DETAILS:

1. $200 non-refundable deposit to be placed on my waiting list to hold your place in line. A completed application is also required. This deposit is applied towards the cost of your puppy.
2. Your puppy must be paid for in full by the time the puppy is eligible to leave my home at 12 weeks. Cash is the accepted method of payment. Puppies leave my home between 3 and 6 moths of age. If you want a “younger” puppy, I am not the breeder for you. Most Maltese puppies are still nursing by 9-10 weeks of age, so your choice to take a puppy away from its mother early for your own gratification is cruel.

All of my Maltese puppies are vaccinated, preventatively de-wormed & Vet checked. The puppies are lovingly raised in my home and socialized with my dogs and our family, friends & visitors. The puppies are piddle pad trained and will be groomed prior to pick up.

I cannot guarantee when a puppy will be available for you. Please understand that my waiting list can be anywhere from 1 month to over a year depending on what you are looking for. I no longer offer puppy visits prior to pick up! This is to provide the best, healthiest puppy for you. There are many phases of Maltese puppy development. For the 12 weeks that the puppies are with me, they sleep thru the first 6 weeks! The following 6 weeks, they play a little, interact with their littermates and sleep a lot. The Maltese puppy starts to blossom just after 12 weeks which is when you will have them in your care.

I look forward to working with you and getting to know you.  Raising quality, beautiful Maltese takes time. Nature takes time. Mothers are pregnant for 9 weeks. The puppies stay with their mothers for 12 weeks. I do not hold puppies for months so that puppy families can go on  vacation. Please plan ahead. I try to communicate to you when I will have puppies ready for you. I expect he same from you should your plans change.

Please note: If you are on my waiting list, I do know that you are waiting for a puppy. I contact you when puppies are mature enough and when I can offer you something. I will not forget about you. Once you have a completed application and deposit with me, I keep a file for you with notes from our conversations, etc. My waiting list files sit next to my computer and I review them regularly and they are kept in strict order. Please know that I am on top of things with my waiting list. Weekly emails or phone calls to “check in” are completely unnecessary as I cannot speed up growth and development of puppies.

If you do not wish to place a waiting list deposit, please check back with me at a later date. I have multiple inquiries every day for my puppies and I do have a waiting list throughout the year.
